MB-15 Polyisobutylene for Film

Protection Film for the film protecting the top coating of the car (PE/PET/PVC/EVA or other films) against acid rain, bird droppings, scratches or rail dusts during freight transport, polyisobutylene used as pressure sensitive adhesive with polyolefin resin. This film eliminates tarnishing, specks and marks on the surface of coating film which raised problems in the conventional protection method of using wax and covers, and makes a significant contribution to the improvement of workability of waste water treatment and posttreatment.

The well-balanced combination of adhesion and removability makes the use of isobutylene valuable for protective films (for example applied on new cars when shipped to the dealership).

Agricultural stretch film is used to preserve cut grass. The grass is compressed into bales, tightened with net and rolled up into stretch film. The stretch film is wrapped around in several layers, each one attaching to each other due to the tacky characteristics of the film. This tacky surface can be fabricated by the addition of polyisobutene as a tack agent during the production process.
