What polyisobutylene (PIB) grades do you supply, and how do I select the right one?+
We supply two molecular-weight families. Medium molecular weight PIB (Mv 10,000–100,000) covers MB-10 / MB-12 / MB-15 for sealants, insulated-glass sealant, chewing-gum
base, and protective film. High molecular weight PIB (Mv >100,000) covers HB-50 / HB-80 / HB-100 for wax modification, roofing membranes, rate glue, pest-control glue, and
transdermal patches. Share your application and target viscosity and our technical team will recommend the exact grade.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ), and can I mix grades in one shipment?+
Standard MOQ is one pallet (approx. 800–1,000 kg in 200 kg drums, or one 1,000 kg IBC). Mixed grades can be consolidated in the same shipment to lower freight cost. For
trial or formulation testing we can arrange smaller quantities - contact us with your target volume.
What are your typical lead times for standard and custom grades?+
Stock and standard grades ship in 7–15 days after confirmation. Custom molecular weight, viscosity, or cold-flow properties are produced to order with a typical lead
time of 20–30 days, including in-house MVI, molecular-weight-distribution, hexane-content, and volatile testing.
How is the product packaged, and is it export-seaworthy?+
We pack in 200 kg galvanized steel drums, 1,000 kg IBC totes, or lined pails, all palletized and stretch-wrapped. Drums are sealed with anti-leak liners and labeled per
GHS/SDS for international ocean and air freight.
Do you provide COA, SDS, and food- or pharma-grade compliance documents?+
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). MB-12 gum-base grade meets food-contact requirements, and HB-100
transdermal-patch grade is supplied with the documentation required for pharmaceutical adhesive formulations. Request specifics when you inquire.
Can you customize molecular weight, viscosity, or cold-flow behavior for my formula?+
Yes. Backed by our R&D team (incubated by Tsinghua Industrial Development Research Institute), we tailor Mv, viscosity, and cold-flow properties to your process. Share
your application, processing method, and target spec - we will develop and sample a matching grade.
Which incoterms and shipping routes do you support?+
We ship worldwide and regularly quote EXW, FOB Ningbo/Shanghai, and CIF to your port. Our plant is in Jiaxing Port District, about 1.5 h from Shanghai/Ningbo ports, which
shortens export lead time.
Can I get samples before a bulk order, and what is the sample policy?+
Yes. We provide free samples (typically 200 g–1 kg) of standard grades so you can run compatibility and processing trials. Sample freight can be collected or prepaid;
custom-grade samples are arranged case by case.
What quality tests do you run before release?+
Each lot is verified by our in-house lab: molecular-weight-distribution test, MVI test, hexane-content test, volatile test, and HPIB composition analysis. Results are recorded
on the COA so buyers can trace every parameter.
