Polyisobutylene is widely used in different types of adhesive formulations, such as pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) and hot melt adhesive (HMA), with high bonding strength, stable performance, no residue after removal.

Polyisobutylene is used in medical woundplasts, bandages, casts, etc., to avoid skin damage.

Food grade polyisobutylene is suitable to use as an adhesive between cover or top and plastic bottle, can, bowl or ware for instant food and drinks.

Polyisobutylene is used to increase the viscosity of mineral oil and improve the viscosity-temperature characteristics to meet the requirements of oil viscosity in a wide temperature range, and improve the shear resistance of the oil and prolong the life of the machine.

Polyisobutylene is also used in lubricating greases.
